This is for FUN, you know, what you do when you are not working... take my advice, if it's no longer fun GET OUT, go sit in the park and feed the ducks... at least they have a life you don't!

It's a game folks, life is too short to get hung up on small details that you have no control over. So, lets cut to the chase, we would like you to consider the Chain of Command BEFORE contacting anyone unnecessarily. Follow the steps along until you get the answer, please do not skip steps and bypass the Chain of Command by just contacting Jack (Nick Jones) or Samem (Emma Wall).

The Chain of Command

Read the site information contained in the Procedures Manual and the Procedures Memos, the answers to 90% of the queries on the site are contained within this tool on the navigation bar. Please READ it.

· Ask other people on the site; they may have the answer you're looking for.
· Contact your Squad CO
· Contact your Team Executive Officer (XO)
· Contact your Team Commanding Officer (CO).

So just whom are we talking about that can help?

You should be aware of what Squad you have joined and who your Squad CO or your Squad XO is. If you don't belong to a Squad, contact your Team CO. You can find out who your Team CO is by visiting the Team Centre and looking under Team Details. Also displayed is the link to your team's Yahoo Group. By joining this group, you will get to know your fellow team members and who is in your team's Command Council. Get to know these people as they can help you.
Remember to contribute to the running of your team; you do not have to have a specified rank, only an enthusiastic outlook to improving your team and level headedness. Remember, your Team CO will be looking for help from you to make your team the best on the site. They will keep you informed via the Team News, found in your Message Centre, and by your team's yahoo group.

If you don't belong to a team, you may contact ANY Team CO to ask your questions or deal with a problem. Being unassigned means you miss the team camaraderie and information available to you about the site. Everyone would benefit from joining the site Yahoo Group.

Unfortunately, due to the expansion of the site the creators are unable to answer every query and deal with every complaint and this includes mediation in disputes. If you do not get a satisfactory answer or solution to your problem, your Squad XO's, Squad CO's, Team XO's and Team CO's are the ones to go to. Not to the Creators of the site as we will be more hands off from the running of the site and be focussed on the updating and development of the site.
Team COs work together and will be responsible for their teams.

Remember this is a GAME and Team CO's/Team XO's do not get any benefit for giving up their time to help with the site, please respect them. Nick and I (Emma) would like to personally extend our heartfelt thanks to these volunteers.

The Creators:

We created the site and up until now been very hands on with the running of the site. However since we have created this site, it has exceeded our wildest dreams (great eh?) and taken up more of our time than we first predicted. With that in mind, here is a bit on each of us and what we can physically deal with on a day-to-day basis. The Command structure will give us more time to create and maintain the site consistently, rather than sporadically. Team CO and Team XO appointments will still require the approval of the both of us. When appointments come up, notices will be made on the Procedures Memo.

Nick Jones

Nick is the Webmaster/Commander of the site, his SAC nickname is Brigadier General Jack O`Neill. Nick must only be contacted in the event of a query the Team CO's cannot answer. The Team CO's will forward your problem to him if they cannot help with a technical query and any other related problem.

Emma Wall

Emma is the Writer/Operations Director for the site, her SAC nickname is ~Oma~ Samem™. Emma must only be contacted in the event of a query the Team CO's cannot answer for you or for submissions for Stargate Alpha Universe. The Team CO's will contact her if there is a problem with people on the site they cannot or should not have to deal with. (Extreme behaviour)
